Within months of making a statement that influenced the zeitgeist of the times, writing fantastical songs that would eventually grow to become timeless, Syd Barrett himself became lost.

His intake of psychedelic substances had overtaken his ability to communicate and in less than a year since the band’s career started in earnest, with Syd at the helm, it became obvious that he could no longer function in a practical manner.

This show features the last bits of his work as a member of Pink Floyd, while conveying the band’s new problem of needing to find a replacement, and to write material of their own.
