The Time Was December 1970: Hit Singles

episode date - December 15, 2010

After one short week taking a quick peak at the year 1960, here we are back to covering 1970. It took us four shows to adequately cover the month of November 1970, and December is almost (almost) as interesting.

This show covers the hit singles from that month, and I believe we’ll need another pair of shows to cover album tracks from this month as well. We’ll save that news for net week. Meanwhile, here’s the singles that we cover herein;

1) My Sweet Lord –George Harrison

2) Your Song – Elton John

3) Domino – Van Morrison

4) If I Were Your Woman – Gladys Knight & the Pips

5) Green Eyed Lady – Sugarloaf

6) Coal Miner’s Daughter – Loretta Lynn

7) Indiana Wants Me – R. Dean Taylor

8) Share the Land – The Guess Who

9) I Think I Love You – The Partridge Family
