Johnny Cash-1932-2003:

Johnny Cash's died this morning in Nashville, from respiratory failure related to diabetes complications. His death was not expected, as the musician was released from the hospital just two days earlier.

Four almost half a century, Cash walked many musical lines, whether singing his songs or those written by the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Nick Lowe, Tom Petty, Neil Diamond and U2.

He was an 11 time Grammy winner, as well as an inductee in both the Country Music and Rock and Roll Hall of Fames.
